Alaska Pacific University offers a post-baccalaureate Certification Only-Option Program (CO-OP) to those seeking licensure for K-8 teaching in Alaska. The CO-OP program requires 27 hours of training and coursework. Once the CO-OP certification has been completed, students can complete 9 more hours of research to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree.
