Minot State University
College of Education and Health Sciences

Minot State University in Minot, ND, offers several Master’s level degree programs in Education.

The Department of Communication Disorders offers a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. The program is accredited by the Council of Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

The Teacher Education and Human Performance Department offers a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree. There are many specialty areas of concentration available from which to choose. They include:

Students can also pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree. This is offered in two specialty areas: Teaching Mathematics and Teaching Science.

An Education Specialist in Schoo Psychology program is also available to students seeking certification as a School Psychologist. This program is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists.

North Dakota State Universitie’s School of Education has many Master’s programs in a variety of specializations.

NDSU offers two different Master’s level degrees in two different counseling concentrations. The degrees offered by the school in the area of counseling are as follows:

  • Master of Science in School Counseling
  • Master of Education in School Counseling
  • Master of Science in Clinical mental Health Counseling
  • Master of Education in Clinical mental Health Counseling

The University of North Dakota’s College of Education & Human Development has several departments within it that each offer Master’s level degrees for educators.

The Department of Counseling Psychology and Community Services offers a Master of Arts in Counseling. Students can choose from one of four emphases:
